If so, this won't be a very good barometer of electoral strength. Cox talks a great conservative game (and talks and talks and talks - hope they bring a timer) and some have been swayed by him at these events. But he's raised under $14,000 (sic) for the entire 17 months he's been on the road campaigning and speaking to tiny crowds, and has zero support showing in any state or national poll. He's also never been elected to anything. It's hard to see him beating Hillary next November with just eleven thousand dollars in the bank - or even Kucinich, who has far more on hand.
