Giuliani reaffirms plan to run for the White House

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Make no mistake about it — Rudy Giuliani is running for president.

“Yes, I’m running, sure,” Giuliani told CNN’s Larry King in an interview that will air Wednesday night.

Giuliani has made similar statements in the last couple of weeks, most recently on Tuesday during a speech at the World Agriculture Expo in Tulare, California.

Giuliani didn’t give an indication of when an official announcement would come, but recognized he has repeatedly said he is seeking the 2008 GOP presidential nomination.

“I guess you do one of these things where you do it four times or five times in a day,” the New York Republican said. “So I get on your show and about five others.”

Giuliani also said he doesn’t have a preference on which Democratic nominee he would most like to run against in the general election.

“I’d like to run against anybody the Democrats nominated,” he said. “If it’s Hillary, God bless her. If it’s Obama, terrific. If it’s Edwards, I hope I haven’t left somebody out, but I think those are the three top ones.”
